John Packer Ltd have worked closely with internationally renowned trumpet and cornet designers and manufacturers Smith-Watkins and have worked personally with Dr Richard Smith to ensure that the JP271SW benefits from the prestige of Smith Watkins' instruments. An exclusive and specially designed Smith Watkins leadpipe was created for the cornet driving excellent articulation and sound projection. The JP271SW also features 1st and 3rd triggers, high tolerance monel valves and features a one piece bell, a professional feature for extra resonance.

  • The JP271SW Bb Cornet is constructed from high grade 80:20 brass thoughtout and features a one piece bell, a feature found on professional instruments. An exclusively designed Smith-Watkins leadpipe delivers good resistance supporting players achieve a warm and well rounded sound. The JP271SW also includes 1st and 3d triggers and high tolerance monel valves.
  • The JP271SW is supplied with a JP603 (4B) mouthpiece as standard and comes equipped with a high quality case for maximum protection. The case is lightweight, well-designed and attractively styled. Backpack straps and a comfortable shoulder strap is included as standard. The case also includes a small storage pocket accessible for the outside of the case. This enables players to store small accessories and sheet music with their instrument.
