Denis Wick Classic Flugelhorn Mouthpiece - Gold

I called to check on the availability of a Denis Wick mouthpiece and found myself talking with a person who knew the Wick line well. He spent a good deal of time with me, which helped me select the mouthpiece I eventually bought. Very helpful!

I was looking for a new mouthpiece between my Conn 3 and an old Schilke Owens 11c (which measures similar to the current Schilke 52D). Using their charts I chose the Classic 6BS. The 6BS is larger than the Conn 3 and brighter than my Schilke Owens mouthpiece. The bore is larger. The low tones on the Schilke are as if I'm playing a base trombone. I can almost mimic that with the DW 6BS.
