The Paxman series mouthpieces were designed in conjunction with Paxman and players from the LSO. They have a radically new outer shape that combines thin upper walls with a heavy center mass. This new outer shape combined with a funnel shaped cup and slightly thicker rim provides increased projection, articulation response, and stability. The heavier center mass brings more clarity to the tone while maintaining a traditional sound and feel.
