The Ultra Cornet mouthpieces all share the same rim with the Ultra trumpet model, and they all use a C cup, making it easy for players to switch between trumpet and cornet. The combined components of the C cup with a smaller bore than the Classic series, and a projecting backbore, slightly brighten the sound and aid the performer in projection and endurance.
